NewTown Macon's Tour of Progress is an annual event that allows the public to see how downtown Macon has changed in a year. 

Participants stop at Adams Square located at 823 Forsyth Street between 4 and 7 p.m. for a tour map and as an official start of the tour.

The tour is free and self-guided as QR codes will be located along the tour route. Scanning the codes with your smartphone allows you to see more information about the project or business.

The tour ends at the Cotton Avenue Plaza where there will be "drinks and light refreshments" as well as an awards ceremony taking place around 6:45 p.m. 

The ceremony is followed by a Partner in Progress awards reception that takes place in the Cotton Avenue Plaza around 7 p.m.
