The family-friendly 29th Annual Pan African Festival returns to Macon's Tubman Museum Thursday, April 24th through Sunday, April 27th this year.
The four-day long festival will include the following events:
- Thursday, April 24th, will be Worship and Prayer night starting at 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 25th, will be the night of the Afrocentric Ball, starting at 7 p.m., which wil include music from DJ T-Luv and Soulful Demarco as well as dance performances, an appearance by the Ugandan Delegation, and food. Tickets cost $45 per person for the Afrocentric Ball, Sponsorships are also available for $500, $1000, or $1500 with Title Sponsorship at $5,000, all of which can be purchased at this link.
Each table seats eight people, and sponsors will be recognized and receive eight one-year memberships to the Tubman Museum.
- Saturday, April 26th, the Opening Ceremony and musical and cultural festivities will take place starting at 12 p.m.
- Sunday, April 27th, the Praise Fest and Cultural Festivities will start at 2 p.m.
