Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park (9/12-9/13)

The Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration returns to the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

This annual event features traditional cultural crafts, storytelling, educational programs, live demonstrations, music and dance, according to the park. 

Parking for the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration is located at the Macon Bibb County Health Department (171 Emery Highway). A free shuttle will transport visitors from the parking area to the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, and buses will depart every 15 minutes during the festival.

Entry to the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration is free.
