The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Middle Georgia that starts on Tuesday, January 21st, and goes through Wednesday, January 22nd. The weather forecast from the NWS is predicting cool weather and low temperatures the rest of the week as well.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with temperatures falling to around 45°F by 5 p.m. West wind 15–20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 20°F. Northwest wind 10–15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 39°F. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21°F. North wind around 5 mph, becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday: Snow showers likely after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 39°F. Northeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tuesday Night: Snow showers likely before 10 p.m., then snow showers possibly mixed with sleet between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., followed by a slight chance of snow showers after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18°F. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 38°F.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18°F.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41°F.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23°F.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45°F.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22°F.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 51°F.
