Middle Georgia residents should prepare for an unsettled stretch of weather this week, with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms - especially in the afternoons and evenings. While temperatures will remain seasonably warm, humidity and periods of rainfall could make conditions feel a bit intense. Here's what to expect from the weather each day of this week, according to the 
weather forecast from the National Weather Service:


Monday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop after noon, with a 50% chance of rain. Highs will reach around 86°F under partly sunny skies. Southwest winds will pick up to 5–10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch are possible.

Monday Night
Showers and thunderstorms are likely in the evening, mainly before 2 a.m. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a low near 68. The chance of rain increases to 70%.


Tuesday
After a possible morning break in the rain, storm chances climb again in the afternoon. There’s a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially after 2 p.m. The high will be near 86°F with a light west wind.

Tuesday Night
Evening storms may linger until about 11 p.m., followed by clearing skies. Expect a low around 66°F and a 60% chance of rain early in the night.


Wednesday
The day will start mostly sunny with a high near 88°F. There’s a 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, mostly after 2 p.m.

Wednesday Night
A 30% chance of showers continues into the early evening hours before skies begin to clear. Overnight lows will dip to around 67°F.


Thursday
The morning may start quietly, but storm chances ramp up again in the afternoon. Expect a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., with a high near 90°F under partly sunny skies.

Thursday Night
Rain chances continue into the night, especially before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 70°F. Chance of precipitation is 60%.


Friday
Another active weather day with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. High near 89°F with continued cloud cover.

Friday Night
Storms will likely persist into the evening and overnight hours. Mostly cloudy with a low around 70°F. Chance of rain remains at 60%.


Saturday
Showers and thunderstorms are expected once again, with a 70% chance of precipitation. Highs near 90°F and partly sunny skies are expected during drier intervals.

Saturday Night
The wet pattern continues overnight with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low around 71°F.


Sunday
Rounding out the week, Sunday looks similarly active with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures may reach near 91°F under partly sunny skies.
