Middle Georgia music fans have plenty of chances to hear one of the many songs written about September by artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Fiona Apple, Green Day, and James Taylor. Past September music-related events included the release of The Doors' debut album in 1967 and Elvis Presley's "Aloha from Hawaii," so there is precedent for great music being created during this month. Jim Webb has been busy once again compiling the following mostly comprehensive list of live music events taking place this week in the heart of Georgia.
