Macon Volunteer Clinic's 3rd Annual Called to Serve Tennis Tournament scheduled for October 16th

Macon Volunteer Clinic’s third annual Called to Serve Tennis Tournament will take place at at the Idle Hour Golf and Country Club in Macon on Monday, October 16th. 

This year's event will consist of the Called to Serve Women’s Tennis Round Robin Tournament and the first ever Called to Serve Men and Women’s Pickleball Charity Round Robin Tournament, according to the Macon Volunteer Clinic's website. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Macon Volunteer Clinic.

The Macon Volunteer Clinic assists working adults in Macon-Bibb county as well as Twiggs county with primary healthcare even if they do not have insurance or the funds to pay for their treatment. 

The clinic's services include "primary care, dental care, eye exams, cancer screenings, prescription medications, labs, diagnostics, mental health counseling", and more, according to the clinic's website

Robins Financial Credit Union, which is based in Warner Robins, recently donated $1,500 to the Macon Volunteer Clinic by sponsoring the 2023 Called to Serve Tennis Tournament, according to a recent press release.
