Krispy Kreme on North Avenue in Macon Scheduled to Close December 23rd

Suzanne Lawler of WMAZ recently posting in a Jones County Facebook page that Krispy Kreme on North avenue will be closing on December 23rd.

This news comes after it was widely reported last year that Krispy Kreme would be closing multiple locations that weren't profitable, although the company as a whole has been doing fairly well financially (though they most recently missed third-quarter expectations). 

Krispy Kreme even partnered with McDonald's starting in 2019 when a few participating McDonald's sold Krispy Kreme's famous donuts. USA Today recently reported the partnership may be expanding to more McDonald's restaurants soon.

Of course, this major partnership does nothing to ease the pain of the many Krispy Kreme fans who get their glazed donut fix at the North Avenue location.
