PRESS RELEASE: Autism Rocks Music Festival Returns THIS WEEKEND with Live Music, Great Food, and Community Fun
Macon, GA – April 8 – The Autism Rocks Music Festival is set to take over the Museum of Arts & Sciences this Saturday, April 12, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. This annual event promises to be an unforgettable day of live music, delicious food, and community support, all in the name of raising awareness for autism and supporting individuals and families affected by autism.
With a stellar lineup of local talent, the festival will feature live performances from Macon Music Revue Jam, Shy Company, and Sisters of the Blue Moon—three acts that bring a mix of iconic hits, dreamy rock sounds, and soulful tunes that are sure to get everyone dancing and singing along.
“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for a day of music and fun, all while supporting a cause close to our hearts,” said Shelly Price, Board President of Central Georgia Autism. “The festival is about more than just great music—it’s an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those affected by autism. The funds raised will directly support therapy scholarships, community programs, and much-needed resources for families.”
Food lovers will have a variety of tasty options to choose from, including offerings from Guitarras Mexican Food Truck, Everything Gelato by Chad, and Oliver’s Corner Bistro, as well as a grill-out hosted by the festival team.
The event will also feature a silent auction with items donated by local businesses such as Rumor Boutique, Bear’s Books, and MD Exchange, among others. Proceeds from the auction will go toward funding autism therapy scholarships and community-based programs for families.
Tickets for the event are currently available for $25 for adults, with kids getting in free. All proceeds from the event will benefit Central Georgia Autism, whose mission is to provide support, education, and resources for the autism community.
