PRESS RELEASE: Subaru of Macon Transforms Showroom for Pet Adoption Event in Partnership with All About Animals Rescue

As part of the Subaru Loves Pets® initiative, the retailer is distributing$4,000 in grant funding to All About Animals Rescue

MACON, GA (November 1, 2025) – Subaru of Macon partnered with All About Animals Rescue today to host a pet adoption event at its showroom. The event brought together families, volunteers, and animal lovers for a day of meeting adoptable dogs and cats and connecting with volunteers from All About Animals Rescue. In addition to hosting the event, Subaru of Macon distributed a $4,000 grant through the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®)* to All About Animals Rescue to support its work caring for animals acrosscentral Georgia.

“At Subaru of Macon, we believe every pet deserves a safe, loving home, and every family deserves the joy pets bring,” said Chris Duncan, executive general manager/COO at Subaru of Macon. “The Subaru Loves Pets® initiative allows us to live that out here in Macon, and we’re proud to stand with All About Animals Rescue to support the pets and people who make our community so special.”

The effort is part of Subaru Loves Pets®, a nationwide initiative in which the automaker and more than 630 Subaru retailers are contributing over $3.1 million this October to animal shelters and welfare organizations. These grants*, administered by the ASPCA®, help cover adoption preparation, veterinary care, and outreach programs connecting pets with families.

According to the ASPCA, an estimated 5.8 million animals entered shelters in the U.S. in 2024. By hosting this pet adoption event, Subaru of Macon and All About Animals Rescue are working to address that need directly, giving local pets a better chance at the healthy, happy lives they deserve.

“Our partnership with Subaru of Macon makes a real difference for animals and families across central Georgia,” said Kristin Wright of All About Animals Rescue. “Together, we’re giving more pets a chance at happy, healthy lives and helping people experience the joy of bringing an animal into their homes.”

Subaru of Macon and All About Animals Rescue have collaborated for fiveyears, including joint efforts to support “Underdogs” — pets who face greater challenges due to age, disability, or medical needs. This partnership is one of many ways Subaru of Macon invests in the community, alongside work with Daybreak, Brookdale Resource Center, Navicent Health, and others.

Since 2008, Subaru has donated more than $70 million to support the rescue, transportation, and adoption of over 700,000 pets nationwide. This year, Subaru will also donate $20 to the ASPCA for every purchase of select Genuine Subaru Pet-Friendly Accessories from participating retailers during October, up to $10,000.**
