Local Yoga Instructor Vying for Title of Maxim Cover Girl

Maria Starlin's journey to health involved a near-fatal accident that left scars on her body. She wants to become a Maxim Cover Girl to show others that scars don't define one's beauty.

Starlin isn't just a yoga instructor: she is also a pilates, barre, and stretch instructor whose focus is on wellness and hopes to help others heal.
