PRESS RELEASE: Visit LaGrange Announces a Weekend of Music, Food and Summer Fun with Downtown Street Party and Lil Jon Concert
LAGRANGE, Ga. (June 2, 2026) – Summer fun kicks off in LaGrange, Ga. with an exciting weekend packed with live entertainment, community celebrations and memorable experiences.
On Friday, June 12, Downtown LaGrange will come alive during the Summer Street Party from 5-9 p.m. The family-friendly, free event occurs once a month from May to July and will feature live music, local vendors, food and drinks, shopping and activities throughout downtown. Thousands attend each event and it’s the perfect way to celebrate the start of summer. Visitors can stroll the streets, explore local businesses and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that makes LaGrange a favorite Georgia getaway destination.
The fun continues on Saturday, June 13, when Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Jon takes the stage at Sweetland Amphitheatre beginning at 7 p.m. Known for chart-topping hits like “Yeah!,” “Get Low” and “Turn Down for What,” Lil Jon will bring his high-energy performance style to one of Georgia’s premier outdoor music venues. Doors for the concert open at 6:30 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to make a full weekend out of the festivities by exploring LaGrange’s walkable downtown, dining at local restaurants, shopping at unique boutiques and enjoying outdoor recreation throughout the area.
