MACON, Ga. (October 12, 2026) – Macon, this one is for you! Raising Cane's opens its first Restaurant in Bibb County on Monday, October 19. Located at 4951 Riverside Drive, Raising Cane’s is thoughtfully positioned just off I-75, one of Macon’s busiest corridors. The Restaurant benefits from Macon’s strong presence as a logistics, manufacturing and medical hub, as well as growing tourism and hospitality investment driven by the city’s rich musical heritage and the elevation of the Ocmulgee Mounds to National Historical Park status.
The award-winning Restaurant Brand is known for its premium chicken, marinated for at least 24 hours and cooked fresh for each order, with no heat lamps and no warmers. Just quality chicken made right every time. Over 100 locally hired Crewmembers prepare every meal with care, from hand-battering Chicken Fingers and making Cane’s Sauce fresh daily, to grilling buttery Cane’s Toast, mixing coleslaw and brewing fresh tea and lemonade. From the Kids Combo to the Caniac Combo, every order delivers the quality flavor Customers have come to know and love.
The new Restaurant is thoughtfully designed to serve “The Central City.” Inside the spacious dining room, the Restaurant features décor celebrating Community pride alongside artwork showcasing Raising Cane’s 30-year history and owner and founder Todd Graves’ journey from humble beginnings to building a Brand centered on its ONE LOVE® – Craveable Chicken Finger Meals®.
Opening day festivities start bright and early, with Customers encouraged to arrive before doors open at 10 a.m. for giveaways, Community celebrations and more, including:
- A "Lucky 20" drawing to award 20 Customers (age 13 and older) FREE Cane’s for a Year! Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. with winners announced shortly after. Customers must be present to win.
- A Cane’s branded hat and free Box Combo card for the first 100 Customers – while supplies last.
- A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce before doors officially open at 10 a.m.
- A $2,000 check presentation to the All About Animals Rescue, a nonprofit organization who rescues animals from local shelters and urgent situations, giving them a safe place to heal and be rehomed.
- Morning entertainment from a live DJ starting at 8 a.m.

The new Raising Cane’s is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight. and Friday and Saturday from 10 to 1 a.m., making it the perfect stop for lunch, dinner and late-night Chicken Finger cravings.
