The 28th Annual Sparks Over the Park Independence Day Celebration will take place at Lake Tobesofkee on Thursday July 4, 2024. 

From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Rescue Dogs band will be performing at Sandy Beach Park and the big fireworks show will start at 9:15 p.m. 

Claystone, Sandy Beach, and Arrowhead parks will be open at 8 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. on Thursday and all the regular activities like swimming and disk golf will be available throughout the day. 

Sandy Beach is usually considered the best place to watch fireworks shows at Lake Tobesofkee, though you can see them from part of Claystone park as well. No Alcohol or glass containers are allowed in any of the parks at Lake Tobesofkee.

Lake Tobesofkee charges an admission of $3.00 per person at the gate, with children six and younger getting in for free.
