The Georgia Historical Society will hold a dedication for a new historical marker about Peyton Anderson, philanthropist, journalist, and the owner of the Macon Telegraph and News.

The dedication will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cotton Ave green space at the intersections of Mulberry and 2nd Streets, in Macon, Georgia.

The event is open to the public. Street parking will be available.
