The 7th Annual Joey Stuckey Alive Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with music from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This year's performers include pianist Tom Rule (6 p.m.), Joey Stuckey with Charles Arnold (7 p.m.), and Caroline Aiken, Diane Durrett, and Liz Melendez (8 p.m.)

Joey Stuckey Alive Day takes place every year on the day that Joey Stuckey, a blind producer and recording artist from Macon, beat the brain cancer that doctors had said would kill him as a child.

Joey Stuckey Alive Day is a free event that includes activities for families, food trucks, and music lovers from all over.
