On Monday, November 25th, starting at 10 a.m., Pulled from the Wreckage Ranch will be presenting Thanksgiving Storytime with children's book author Gillian Neimar, wholl will read aloud her picture book "I Want Your Moo."  

"I Want Your Moo" is a barnyard comedy picture book about an insecure turkey named Toodles who learns to love herself.

Pulled from the Wreckage Ranch is a small farm sanctuary run by Charlotte McGee that takes in abandoned, abused, or neglected farm animals.

This storytelling event is part of an effort to use the sanctuary not just for rescue, but for emotional development and family connection. 

Rescued pigs, ponies, ducks, chickens, and goats will be on hand as attendees enjoy:

 - Read-alouds, call & response, and sing-a-longs 

 - A Thanksgiving treasure hunt for "turkey" feathers they can exchange for stickers 

 - Time with the ranch’s rescued animals, including 11 newborn piglets they can snuggle and hug. 

The sessions are staggered throughout the day, with max 10 kids per reading (accompanied by one adult) for a calm, confidence-building experience. Tickets are $10 per child (accompanying adult is free).
