The 44th International Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled take place from Friday, March 20th through Sunday, March 29th.

More than 300,000+ Yoshino cherry trees in Macon should be in bloom, making the festival live up to the nickname of the Pinkest Party on Earth.

Special events will take place during the festival at Carolyn Crayton Park (aka Central City Park) including circus performers, magic shows, animal shows, and nightly concerts in the park.

Visitors to Carolyn Crayton Park can enjoy the musical performances for the cost of entry into the festival, which is $10 at the gate. Each year a fireworks show takes place at Carolyn Crayton Park on the last day of the festival.

Other Cherry Blossom Festival events take place in Downtown Macon, including in Third Street Park, at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park (Lantern Light Tours), and on downtown's streets (the Wiener Dog and Bed Races), and much more.

Visit the official website of the festival to read more about the many activities taking place this year.
