The Cannonball House's Fall Bazaar will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Cannonball House is a historically significant Greek Revival home that was struck by a cannonball during the Civil War when Union soldiers under the command Major George Stoneman's attacked Macon in 1865.

The Cannonball House now functions as a historic house museum operated by the non-profit The Friends of the Cannonball House. Visitors can find Civil War artifacts, take part in classes to learn about etiquette or herbs (Educational Director Brenda Dobson grows some in the Cannonball House's courtyard gardens), enjoy a Mother/Daughter Tea or a Father/Daughter Dance, take a tour with knowledgeable guides, including Wayne Dobson and Joel Whitehead.
