Central Georgia’s weather this week starts with some showers and possible thunderstorms but wraps up with a string of beautiful, sunny days. From heavy rainfall to near-perfect spring conditions, here’s your day-by-day forecast based on the National Weather Service's weather forecast.

MONDAY, April 7th:

Expect up to 1 to 2 inches of rain, with a high near 71°F. Winds will shift from the southwest to the west by afternoon, gusting up to 15 mph.

By Monday night, storms will taper off. Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 8 p.m., then just a slight chance of lingering showers until around 2 a.m. Skies will gradually clear, and temperatures will drop to about 43°F under a light northwest breeze.

TUESDAY, April 8th:
After the stormy start, Tuesday delivers a fresh and sunny reset. Highs will reach around 67°F under clear skies, and a light breeze from the northwest could gust up to 15 mph.

The night will be chilly and clear, with lows dipping to around 40°F—a reminder that spring still carries a hint of winter’s chill after dark.

Another sunny day is on tap for Wednesday, and it’ll be slightly warmer with a high near 71°F. Winds will be light, and skies will stay clear through the night.

Lows overnight will hover around 46°F.

THURSDAY, April 10th:
Spring warmth takes center stage Thursday with sunny skies and a high near 77°F—the warmest day so far this week.

Clouds may build slightly by nightfall, and there's a 30% chance of showers arriving after 2 a.m. Overnight lows will stay mild around 52°F.

FRIDAY, April 11th:
Some scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms could pop up Friday—again, there's about a 30% chance of rain—but most of the day will remain mostly sunny. Highs will be around 71°F.

Friday night brings only a slight chance of thunderstorms, with skies clearing and temperatures cooling to around 44°F.

SATURDAY, April 12th:
The weekend opens with nothing but sunshine. Saturday looks clear and calm, with a high near 68°F and a low around 42°F at night. It’s perfect weather for outdoor plans, whether you're heading to a ball game, festival, or just soaking up the sun.

SUNDAY, April 13th:
