The wait is over and Bragg Jam has officially dropped its 2025 Concert Crawl lineup. This year, the beloved Macon music festival will take place on Saturday, July 26th, and be headlined by two returning acts whose stars have only risen since their last time on the crawl: American Aquarium and Susto. Additionally, a new event called Muddy Mystery Shows will effectively extend Bragg Jam to Friday and Sunday.
Once rising names on past Bragg Jam rosters, both headliners are now commanding top billing, marking a full-circle moment for longtime fans and festival-goers. American Aquarium is an alt-country, Southern rock, and heartland Americana band formed in 2006 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their music often discusses blue collar struggles, heartbreak, addiction, and life in the rural south.
Their albums include Burn. Flicker. Die. (2012), which was produced by Jason Isbell, and the more recent Chicamacomico (2022), which is more introspective and melancholic than the band's older music.
The music video for American Aquarium's "Losing Side Of Twenty-Five" has been viewed over 600,000 on YouTube
Susto hail from Charleston, South Carolina and have been performing since 2013. Susto is a bit more eclectic, mixing alt-country and indie rock as well as ocassional psychedelic and Latin influences. Susto's name comes from the Spanish word meaning "a sudden fear." The band's album's include SUSTO (2014) and more recently My Entire Life (2023).
Susto's music video for the song "Cowboys" premiered in March 2024
Joining the headliners are a diverse mix of talent including Bo Staloch, Cha Wa, Hanna Jadagu, Hans Williams, John R. Miller, Lunar Vacation, Tré Burt, and The Sensational Barnes Brothers, with many more artists expected to take the stage across downtown Macon venues.
You can listen to the music from the performing bands at the 2025 Bragg Jam Concert Crawl on the concert crawl's Spotify playlist.
General admission tickets are on sale now for $50, while VIP access - which often includes perks like express entry, private bars, and exclusive viewing areas - is available for $125.
Families can get in on the action too with Bragg Fam tickets at just $10 for one adult and up to four children. This year Bragg Fam will take place at the brand new Otis Redding Center for the Arts.
Adding an extra element of excitement this year are the Muddy Mystery Shows - three secret concerts at unexpected venues for select ticket holders. Attendees lucky enough to snag passes for these unique shows will be invited to exclusive, unannounced performances where both the artist and location remain a complete surprise until showtime. Tickets to each of the Muddy Mystery Shows cost $15.
