Middle Georgia is in for a warm and mostly dry stretch this week, with high temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s, if the National Weather Service's weather forecast for this week is accurate. A few scattered showers and storms may pop up mid-to-late week but otherwise expect lots of sunshine.


MONDAY, April 21st:
The week begins with partly sunny skies and a high near 87°F. A gentle south wind will shift to the southwest by afternoon, with occasional gusts up to 15 mph making it feel a bit breezy at times.
Monday night will be calm and mild, dipping to a low around 61°F under partly cloudy skies.


TUESDAY, April 22nd:
Expect more of the same Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high close to 87°F. Winds stay light, shifting to the southwest during the afternoon.
Overnight, clouds increase slightly, bringing a mostly cloudy sky and a low near 62°F.


WEDNESDAY, April 23rd:
Things begin to shift a bit midweek. A 30% chance of showers arrives after 2 p.m., though much of the day will still be partly sunny and warm with a high near 89°F.
By Wednesday night, there's a continued slight chance (30%) for early evening showers or thunderstorms, but skies will gradually clear. Overnight lows settle around 62°F.


THURSDAY, April 24th::
Another chance (30%) of scattered showers appears Thursday afternoon, but the day will remain partly sunny with another warm high near 89°F.

Looking like the nicest day of the week, Friday brings mostly sunny skies and a high around 90°F-definitely feeling like summer.
Friday night remains quiet with partly cloudy conditions and a low near 64°F.


SATURDAY, April 26th:
There’s a slight 20% chance of a shower on Saturday, but overall it should be mostly sunny with a high near 90°F.
Saturday night holds just a 10% chance of rain and remains partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to around 63°F.


SUNDAY, April 27th:
Rain chances tick up a bit to 30% on Sunday, but the day will still be mostly sunny and pleasantly warm, with a high near 86°F—perfect for squeezing in some time outdoors before the new week begins.
