August has arrived with lots of live music shows and special events worth getting out of the house for. First Friday in Downtown Macon means many opportunities for music lovers at art exhibit openings, dining establishments, and historic music venues. Music fan Jim Webb has once again been hard at work compiling the following mostly comprehensive list of live music events to be found this week in the heart of Georgia.
