PRESS RELEASE: APRIL 9, 2025 Naturalization Ceremony in the William Augustus Bootle Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse
On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, approximately 21 applicants who have been
found qualified for naturalization by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services,
Department Homeland Security, will take their oaths of allegiance to the United States
at the Macon Division of the United States District Court for the Middle District of
Georgia. The applicants are from 15 countries.
The Honorable Tilman E. Self, III, United States District Court Judge, will preside
at the naturalization ceremony which is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom
A, Second Floor, of the William Augustus Bootle Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse
in Macon.
Members of the press will be permitted to bring audio and video equipment into
the courtroom for this special occasion; however, due to security concerns, you should
arrive early in order for security to conduct the appropriate screening and to make sure
that you are set up prior to the start of the ceremony. For more information, please
