One lucky winner of the Great Ocmulgee River Duck Race will win $10,000 and the person with the last place duck will get $1,000.
The second place duck will win someone $2,500, the third place duck will win someone $250, and the last place duck will win a participant $1,000.
To take part in this fun tradition, participants can adopt a duck for $20. The ducks will be numbered and then raced down the Ocmulgee River.

Duck Hunt
Additionally, Friday, June 3rd someone will have one more chance to find a lucky pink duck hidden in downtown Macon. Finding one of these ducks wins the finder a prize as well as gets that duck entered into the race.
The rules for the Duck Hunt is that each duck can only be claimed one time, the finder of the duck must register in through an online form, and the finder must post on social media, tagging the location of the discovery and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia. Alternatively, you could email your photo to dbeckham@bgccg.org.
