PRESS RELEASE: AgGeorgia Offering Community Ag Project Grants Up to $5,000
Perry, GA (March 25, 2026) – AgGeorgia Farm Credit is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Mission Fund, a grant program designed to advance the future of agriculture, support farm families, and enhance rural communities across Georgia.
AgGeorgia has allocated $50,000 in grant funding to support projects that align with the fund’s mission of building strong partnerships that preserve and promote farmers and farm familieswhile enhancing the quality of life in rural communities. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded,with a limit of one grant per organization per year.
While all eligible projects aligned with the mission will be considered, priority may be given to initiatives that promote agricultural literacy and awareness, support veteran and underserved farmers, and strengthen rural communities.
Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations. Individuals and private farms are not eligible to apply. Proposed projects must serve communities within the 79 counties where AgGeorgia Farm Credit conducts business and must align with the mission and objectives of theCommunity Mission Fund.
To apply, organizations must submit a completed online application, include a project description outlining how grant funds will be used, and upload a current W-9 form. All required fields and attachments must be completed prior to submission for an application to be considered.
The application deadline for the 2026 Community Mission Fund is June 1, 2026. Grant applications will be reviewed, and awards will be announced during the third quarter of 2026.
