Vince Gill is a singer, songwriter, and musician who started performing in the 1970s. The musician gained fame in the late 70s and early 80s as the lead singer for Pure Prairie League, a soft rock band who had a hit with "Let Me Love You Tonight". 

Vince Gill's early 90s album "When I Call Your Name" had almost 70 entries on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts at the time.
