This week many bands will perform on stages around Macon. There will be free concerts and performances and a chance for you to be the star as well on karaoke night at JBA on Thursday night.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH
CHRIS TOMLIN X MERCYME WINTER TOUR 2022 AT THE MACON COLISEUM (7 p.m.)
Chris Tomlin and MercyMe are two successful Christian music acts that will be performing together this Thursday in Macon.
Tickets start at $29.50 and the Macon Coliseum is located at 200 Coliseum Drive.
KARAOKE EVERY THURSDAY AT JBA (9 p.m.)
JBA presents a night of karaoke with a full production every Thursday. This event is hosted by Willie D of Fresh Produce Records.
JBA is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH
MACON YOUTH ORCHESTRA: A FESTIVE RETURN AT WESLEYAN COLLEGE (6:30 p.m.)
This free concert celebrates the return of the Macon Youth Orchestra and the beginning of their new season.
Pierce Chapel is located on the Wesleyan College Campus and is located at 4760 Forsyth Road.
SOLID LIVE AT A BROOKE HAVEN LOUNGE (9 - 11:45 p.m.)
SOLID is a talented local band who will be performing two sets of Rhythm and Blues music.
This event has no cover charge and A Brooke Haven Lounge is located at 401 Cherry Street, Suite 101.
BLUES FOR BUBU FEATURING ROBERT L. COLEMAN AND JOHN FORD AT GRANT'S LOUNGE (9 p.m.)
This event is presented by the All Blues Cultural Preservation Society and Colony Bank in honor of Kenneth Bubu Robinson on his birthday weekend. There will be live musical performances by the talented Macon blues musicians Robert Lee, Coleman, Bo Ponder, and John Ford along with others.
Tickets cost $10 and Grant's Lounge is located at 576 Poplar Street.
BIRD DOG JUBILEE AT THE HUMMINGBIRD (10 p.m. - 2 a.m.)
Bird Dog Jubilee performed at the Sweetwater 420 Fest this year and will be at The Hummingbird on Friday night.
Tickets cost $5 at the door and The Hummingbird Stage and Taproom is located at 430 Cherry Street.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10TH
WASTED POTENTIAL BRASS BAND AT THE SOCIETY GARDEN (8:30 - 11 p.m.)
The Wasted Potential Brass Band describes themselves as “Atlanta’s pop up party starter” and as “powered by tuba goodness”.
The Society Garden is located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue.
HUGHES TAYLOR BAND AT GRANT'S LOUNGE (9 p.m. - 12 a.m.)
Huges Taylor is a Macon native who has been playing the blues for the last two decades. The Hughes Taylor Band recently released their fourth studio album, Modern Nostalgia.

SANCTIFIED REVIVAL AT THE HUMMINGBIRD (10 p.m. - 2 a.m.)
The band Sanctified Revival is a Rock and Roll band that will perform on Saturday night at The Hummingbird.

TRAVIS BRYANT AT THE SOCIETY GARDEN (8:30 - 11 p.m.)
Guitarist and Singer Travis Bryant will perform on The Society Garden’s roomy stage on Saturday evening.
The Society Garden is located at 2389 Ingleside Avenue.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11TH
WHISKEY MYERS WITH SPECIAL GUESTS READ SOUTHALL BAND AND THE WEATHERED SOULS AT THE MACON COLISEUM (7:30 p.m.)
Whiskey Myers is a Southern Rock/Country band from Texas who have released six albums, including their latest album titled Tornillo. The bands Read Southall and The Weathered Souls have similar sounds to Whiskey Myers and will also perform at this concert. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $36.50 and the Macon Coliseum is located at 200 Coliseum Drive.
