The second annual Macon Art eXplosion (MAX), one of the most unique art festivals in all of Middle Georgia, returns to the Grand Opera House in February 2023. 

The Grand Opera House describes this event as a radically inclusive, family friendly, all-day weekend extreme art festival.

Attendees at MAX will be able to explore parts of the historic Grand Opera House that are usually off limits to visitors. They will find unexpected events and art throughout the large venue that includes music, plays, interactive exhibits, and more.

MAX is scheduled to take place from 11 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th through Sunday, February 19th.

Tickets for adults and children over 12 are $5 and allow you to attend events every day of the three day event. Children under 12 receive free entry.
