The Painters is a band of "Funk Rockers" from nearby Dublin and they will be performing at Billy's Clubhouse in North Macon on Saturday, January 21st.

Funk rock is a style of music that mixes funk and rock music and James Brown stated Little Richard and his band The Upsetters were the pioneers of the style.

There is no cover charge for this show. The band starts playing at 10 p.m. and the show ends at 2 a.m.
