The Ocmulgee Archaeological Society will hold its 19th Annual Fort Hawkins Archaeology Day event, complete with Artifact ID, pottery-making, Georgia Indian lifeways, primitive skills, living history, blacksmithing, and museum & blockhouse tours on Saturday, May 11th from 12-4 pm. This is a free, family event open to the public and co-sponsored by the Fort Hawkins Foundation.  Please come out and have fun learning about archaeology and history at the Fort!
