The Thomasville Rose Show & Festival will take place on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th this year. 

This event has been taking place for more than 100 years in Thomasville, Georgia.

Of Friday, the Thomasville Rose Show & Festival will begin with Orchids on Parade (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.), which will showcase numerous orchids grown in natural habitats by members of the Thomasville Orchid Society. "Orchids on Parade" takes place inside Thomasville's Municipal Building.

The 102 Annual Rose Show (1 - 5 p.m.) will take place on Remington Avenue at Broad Street in Downtown Thomasville. There will be hundreds of heirloom and hybrid rose varieties on display and a performance by the Thomasville High School Band.

The Rose Parade (7 p.m.) will feature creative floats, marching bands, and more and will take place on Broad Street.

The Street Dance (8 p.m.) will feature live music from the Swingin' Medallions and will take place directly after the Rose Parade during Friday's festivities.

On Saturday, there will be another Orchids on Parade and Rose Show and also a Civic Garden Club Flower Show (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.), Rose City "Show & Shine" Car & Truck Show (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.), Sip & Shop in Downtown Thomasville (5 - 10 p.m.), which will include rose themed foods and drinks for sale by local businesses,  and the Rose Fest Finale and Fireworks with live music from The Company Band, food trucks, and a fireworks show.
