Almost a dozen different festive Christmas parades will be taking place in cities all around Middle Georgia this year. The first parade will take place on Thursday, November 30th and the last parade, Macon-Bibb's Christmas Parade, is scheduled to take place Sunday, December 17th in Downtown Macon.
Thursday, November 30th
FORSYTH
The Hometown Holidays Parade will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th in downtown Forsyth.
Friday, December 1st
DUBLIN
Dublin will have its Christmas parade this Friday starting at 6 p.m. when the parade will start on Jackson Street. Dublin's parade will include marching bands, lots of Christmas lights, and plenty of Christmas spirit too.
Saturday, December 2nd
DEXTER
The City of Dexter will present their 15th Annual Christmas Parade starting at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday
LIZELLA
The 5th annual Lizella Christmas Parade will also take place on Saturday starting at 2 p.m.
PERRY
Downtown Perry will also start its Christmas Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The theme for Perry's parade this year is "Gingerbread Village: A Sweet and Merry Christmas Parade."
WARNER ROBINS
The City of Warner Robins will host its 65th Annual Christmas Parade at 10 a.m. starting on Watson Boulevard this Saturday.
BYRON
Byron will also be presenting its Christmas Parade on Saturday and it will start at 1 p.m. on Linda Drive, then travel to White Road, Highway 42, Moseley Road, Main Street and back to Linda Drive.
Sunday, December 3rd
MILLEDGEVILLE
The Exchange Club of Milledgeville is presenting its annual Milledgeville Christmas Parade on Sunday in historic downtown Milledgeville starting at 3 p.m. The parade will go from the South Gate of Georgia Military College, to Elbert Street, and then to West Hancock Street, and then finally towards the town's Piggly Wiggley.
Saturday, December 9th
BOLLINGBROKE
Downtown Bollingbroke will present a Christmas Parade that will start at 11 a.m. and include photo opportunities with Jolly Old Saint Nicholas (aka Santa), treats from local businesses, and more.
FORT VALLEY
Fort Valley will also present the Fort Valley Lighted Christmas Parade on the 9th starting at 6 p.m. The parade's route will go through the center of Fort Valley]
Sunday, December 17th
MACON
And the final Christmas Parade scheduled for Middle Georgia will be the Macon-Bibb Christmas Parade. It is scheduled to take place on December 17th starting at 4 p.m. on Cherry Street in downtown Macon.
