The blooming cherry blossom trees in Downtown Macon are flowering just in time for the Pinkest Party on Earth, with celebrations and events taking place this week in Third Street Park and Carolyn Crayton Park. The adventurous can also try out Cat Yoga, micro wrestling, food trucks, and more from Monday through Thursday. The following are just a few of the interesting, unique, and often free things to do this week in the heart of Georgia.
MONDAY, March 23rd
>> Cherry Blossom Third Street Park Festivities in Macon (3/23-3/27) (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.)
There will be music, Coca-Cola, and pink sweet treats in Downtown Macon’s Third Street Park from Monday through Friday this week. The Cherry Blossom Festival also has a surprise in store that they will reveal at a later time. This family-friendly, annual event is free and open to the public.

Singer/Songwriter Stacey Blanton will perform on the Coca-Cola Entertainment Stage at Carolyn Crayton Park (aka Central City Park) on Monday night. Blanton was awarded the Female and Overall Artist of the Year awards at the 2025 Georgia Country Awards. Monday will also be Heroes Day at the festival, which means first responders/military members, and their families, will receive discounted $10 rides. The International Cherry Blossom Festival’s Nightly Concert Series takes place every night of the festival. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Tickets to the festival are $10 for adults, and children 10 and under get in free.

TUESDAY, March 24th
>> Bluey at the Cherry Blossom Festival at CCP in Macon (4-6 p.m.)
The Cherry Blossom Festival in Carolyn Crayton Park includes fast rides, fair food, a variety of shows, vendors, and even the beloved children’s cartoon character Bluey. The Australian character will greet attendees and create memorable photographs for adoring fans, both young and old.

>> YOGA: Cat Yoga with Michelle at Paws Awhile Cat Cafe in Perry (5:30-6:30 p.m.)
You’ve heard of herding cats, but have you hear of yoga with cats yet? This Tuesday, take part in a unique yoga class at Perry’s Paws Awhile Cat Cafe. Yogis will relax and stretch while surrounded by the adorable, adoptable cats of the Paws Awhile Cat Cafe. Attendees must be 10 or older to attend this all-levels class. >> SPORTS: The Harlem Globetrotters 100 Year Tour at the Macon Coliseum (7 p.m.)
The Harlem Globetrotters have played over 26,000 exhibition games in over 120 countries since the team was founded in Chicago in the 1920s. The Harlem Globetrotters will be celebrating 100 years of athleticism, comedy, entertainment, and theater during this game. WEDNESDAY, March 25th
>> SPORTS: Micro Wrestling at The Society Garden in Macon (8 p.m.)
The Micro Wrestling Foundation will be putting on a show at Macon’s The Society Garden this Wednesday evening. The wrestling group’s headquarters are in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and they can be seen on the Discovery Channel’s “Big Little Brawlers” reality show, which follows the troupe as they prepare for the largest annual micro wrestling event, Microfest. THURSDAY, March 26th
>> Sins and Sounds Along the Fall Line at Vice Bar in Macon (4-7 p.m.)
Local Fall Line poets, musicians, and storytellers will be performing at Downtown Macon’s Vice Bar during Sins and Sounds Along the Fall Line this Thursday. Patrons will hear from local talents Bob and Blender, Chris Alonzo, Mookie Evans, Koryn Young, Lee McCombs, Bryant Perez, Justin Cutway, Brent Thomason, Richard Anderson, Nathan Garrett, and Becky Sandoz. Sins and Sounds Along the Fall Line is free and open to the public.

>> March Food Truck Roundup: Hometown Spring Fling at Perkins Field in Warner Robins (6-9 p.m.)
Warner Robins will host its Hometown Spring Fling this Thursday in Perkins Field. This family-friendly event will include food trucks, activities for kids, a performance by AJ the DJ, and an Easter Egg Hunt (that takes place at 7:00 p.m.). Attendees are invited to bring picnics and chairs for this community celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The Hometown Spring Fling is free and open to the public.

>> Live Plant Art Workshop by Fig and Ivy Plant Shop at Switch Macon (6:45 p.m.)
Fig and Ivy Plant Shop will host a Live Plant Art Workshop at Switch Macon on Thursday evening. Attendees will be using a Kokedama (a Japanese moss ball planter) and a Mounted Staghorn Fern to put together a piece of “living art” for your home or to give as a gift. Tickets to this Live Plant Art Workshop cost $75.

Friday, March 27th, through Sunday, March 29th: Historic Macon Spring Flea Market: Historic Macon Foundation’s Spring Flea Market will begin with VIP shopping on Friday night, March 27th, from 5 to 7 p.m. (where members will receive 15% off) and then open up for the general public on Saturday from 9 to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m.
Friday, March 28th through Sunday, March 28th: Cherry Blossom Food Truck Frenzy and Cherry Market 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Downtown Macon’s Third and Cherry Streets will be crowded with food trucks from near and far this weekend. Commercial vendors from all around Georgia will sell unique items during the Cherry Market. DJ Laura Starling will entertain visitors while Piedmont Brewery will be offering beverages for purchase.
Saturday, March 28th through Sunday, March 29th, 12 p.m.: Cherry Blossom Festival Isekai Anime & Esports Convention 2026. The Cherry Blossom Festival Isekai 2026 will celebrate 5 years of “anime, cosplay, gaming, and all things nerdy,” including cosplay contests, a Maid Cafe by Hello Boba, gaming tournaments, an Itasha Car Exhibit, wrestling, vendors, and much more. Tickets to this family-friendly event cost $25 online.
Saturday, March 28th through Sunday, March 28th: Dragon’s Dream: Circanium at Mercer University’s Historic Mercer Quad 8-9:30 p.m. The Mercer University Theatre, Julia Anne Morrison, and Frani Geiger Rollins will present an original show that combines “circus skills, Dungeons and Dragons, giant puppets, original music, dance, flow arts, and fire” during Dragon’s Dream: Circanium this Saturday and Sunday. Characters and puppets will parade through Mercer Village to the quad starting at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to this free, family-friendly event.
