The Bicentennial Reception from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Tubman Museum will continue the year long celebration of 200 years since Macon's founding that began in late 2022 with the Mayor's Sneaker Ball.

This special exhibition features portrait photography of photojournalist Johnny Crawford and painted portraits by Wilfred Stroud.

Works by both Crawford and Stroud will pay tribute to Macon residents who have made a difference in our communities, even if they didn't receive much credit for it.

There will also be an award ceremony for the Act of Courage Award being awarded to Mrs. Mary Stroud on behalf of her husband Wilfred Stroud.
