The Cherry Blossom Festival will honor U.S. military veterans during the Cherry Blossom Veterans Day Parade scheduled for Sunday, November 5th at 3 p.m. in Downtown Macon.
The parade's will follow a different route from past years and will start at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Cherry Street, turn onto Second Street, and finally end on Mulberry Street.
This year's parade will include an exciting flyover of a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighter aircraft from nearby Robins Air Force Base. The parade will also include marching bands, patriotic floats, and marching military units, according to the Cherry Blossom Festival's Facebook page.
