The Jackson Lake Association is calling local personal watercraft (PWC) enthusiasts to participate in the Ride the River event as it returns this summer with two exciting rides: Ride the Yellow River on June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and Ride the Alcovy River on August 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Ride the River is a community event that brings together PWC owners, whether they ride one, two, or three-seater models, for an journey along Georgia’s scenic rivers.

A JLA boat frequently follows behind to provide assistance in case of mechanical issues or emergencies, ensuring a safe and smooth ride for all participants.

How to Participate

Anyone with a PWC is welcome to join the ride. Riders should ensure their watercraft is in good working condition, bring a life vest, and fill up your gas the night before and be prepared for a fun day on the river.
