Skydog 78 is a yearly musical festival that celebrates the "birthday, life, and music" of Duane Allman aka Skydog. Attendees will hear live music that was either played by Skydog or music that his talents inspired in others.

Every year proceeds from the music festival benefit DePaul USA Daybreak Center, a homeless ministry located in downtown Macon that has helped many a hungry and desperate individual throughout the years. 

Skydog 78 will take place from 12 - 4 p.m., this festival invites you to bring your own coolers, blankets, and friends to celebrate the life and legacy of Duane Allman and support those in need in Macon.

Unlike most festivals, attendees don't buy a ticket for this special event. Instead, bring 10 or more of the following items for entry: 

Paper towels

Spray deodorant

Double/triple blade razors

Liquid laundry detergent

Pine-sol

Vinegar

Coffee

Body wash

Lawn trash bags (33 gallon or larger)
