Halloween and Fall Festival Extravaganza in Middle Georgia: Spooky Events Taking Place this Halloween Season

This year there will be Halloween and Fall Festival events taking place for a whole week before October 31st

From spooky soirées to family-friendly festivities, Middle Georgia is gearing up for a Halloween and Fall Festival extravaganza you won't want to miss. The following is a list of a few of the unique events taking place near you this year.


Tuesday, October 24th

Toddler Halloween Party at Monkey Joe's

    • Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
    • Description: A bewitching bash designed exclusively for little ones under 4. Expect a charming costume parade at 11 a.m. It's all treats and no tricks for your tiny tots!
    • Price: Children under 4 pay only $4 for admission on Tuesdays. Older siblings are welcome at regular admission rates.

    Nevermore: A Chilling Cocktail Experience

      • Time: 6:30 and 8 p.m. (1 hour and thirty minute showtimes)
      • Description: Lose yourself in the creepy world of Edgar Allan Poe with this interactive theater experience at The Society Garden. Local actors will bring Poe's tales to life while you savor four expertly crafted themed cocktails at this event for those 16 years old and older.
      • Price: Tickets to Nevermore cost $55 and include four themed cocktails: mocktail modifications are available upon request

      Wednesday, October 25th

      Hocus Pocus Bar Crawl - Fall Line Brewing

      • Time: 6:00 PM
      • Description: Get ready for a magical journey through downtown Macon. At each stop, wickedly delicious drink specials await. Use a blacklight to unveil the missing ingredient from the "Life Potion" to claim your shot of potion at the spellbinding JBA After Party, where patrons will party with the Sanderson Sisters.
      • Price: Tickets for the Hocus Pocus Bar Crawl are $11 before fees.

      Thursday, October 26th

      Ingleside Trick or Treat at Historic Ingleside Village

      • Time: 5 - 7 p.m.
      • Description: Historic Ingleside Village invites families for a delightful trick-or-treating adventure. Participating businesses will display a special flyer, offering treats from 5 to 7 p.m.
      • Price: This is a free family-friendly event, and all are welcome.

      Truck or Treat at The Canopy in Warner Robins

      • Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
      • Description: The Canopy is hosting a trunk-or-treat event open to the community. Expect an ice cream truck, a bouncy house, games, and, of course, lots of candy for the little ones.
      • Price: This event is free to attend and perfect for families.

      Howl-O-week at The Patio at Rigby’s in Warner Robins

      • Time: 6 p.m.
      • Description: Join the Halloween dog costume contest and parade at 7 p.m. The Patio will transform into a doggie bar, complete with dog vendors.

      Spirits in October - where Valor Rests in Riverside Cemetery

      • Time: 6 p.m.
      • Description: Riverside Cemetery offers a guided walking tour with actors portraying Macon's fascinating historical characters. Explore the stunning 126-year-old cemetery grounds and hear captivating stories with the final stop inside the Macon Public Mausoleum. Light refreshments are provided.
      • Price: Tickets to Spirits in October cost $15 are available for this one-hour guided tour. If you aren’t able to make it to the tour on Thursday, tours will be running from October 26th to 29th and then from November 3rd through 5th.

      Friday, October 27th

      Millie’s Treats at Sweets & Treats in Downtown Perry

      • Time: 5 - 7 p.m.
      • Description: Bring your four-legged friends for a doggy trick-or-treat event at Sweets & Treats. They'll have yummy treats for all the furry participants.
      • Price: Dogs are welcome, and the event is free to attend.

      Salem Sisters Family Dinner at The Patio at Rigby’s

      • Time: 6 p.m.
      • Description: Enjoy a family-friendly evening at The Patio with the Salem Sisters. Activities include glitter tattoos, pumpkin painting, and a delicious meal.
      • Price: Tickets to the Salem Sisters family dinner are $20 online.

      Fall Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park (aka Central City Park)

      • Time: 5:30 - 8 p.m.
      • Description: This fall festival is packed with fun, featuring a haunted house, live music, food trucks, local mascots, face painting, and much more. It's a great event for the entire family.
      • Price: Admission to this Fall Festival event is free.

      Kostume Karaoke at Reboot Retrocade & Bar

      • Time: 9 p.m.
      • Description: Get into the spooky spirit with karaoke and a costume contest at Reboot Retrocade & Bar. Wear your Halloween attire for a chance to win some drinks!
      • Price: This event is for patrons 18 years old and older and it's free to enter.

      Saturday, October 28th

      Trick or Treat at Rigby’s

      • Time: 1 - 3 p.m.
      • Description: Join Rigby's Water World for a spooktacular trick-or-treating adventure. Wander around the park's front area, collect candy from local businesses, and enjoy the free-entry family-friendly event.
      • Price: The event is free for all, and costumes are encouraged.

      Revenge of the 80’s Halloween Party in Griffin

      • Time: 8 - 11 p.m.
      • Description: Travel back in time to the 1980s with this epic Halloween party. Dress in your best '80s attire and participate in the costume contest with prizes up for grabs.
      • Price: Tickets to Revenge of the 80’s Halloween Party cost $10.

      Film Screening: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

      • Time: 9 p.m.
      • Description: The Grand presents a Halloween classic – "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Enjoy the interactive musical experience and don't forget your costume!
      • Price: Tickets to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show cost $3.86.

      Monday, October 30th

      Macon Bike Party: Bikes + Frights

      • Time: 6 p.m.
      • Description: Join the haunted Halloween-inspired Bike Party led by McKinley Starks. Explore downtown Macon and its eerie locations on this spooky slow ride.
      • Price: Macon Bike Party is a free community bicycle ride, and all ages are welcome. Free lights, snacks, and water will be available.

      Tuesday, October 31st

      Milledgeville Main Street’s Treats 4 Halloween

      • Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
      • Description: More than 30 businesses in downtown Milledgeville will have a flyer and balloon in their windows and will hand out candy to trick or treaters for Halloween.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      Trick or Treat in Downtown Macon

      • Time: 4 - 7 p.m.
      • Description: Downtown Macon businesses and organizations welcome trick-or-treaters. Visit downtown retailers and restaurants for candy and fun activities.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      Boo Bash at Fall Line Brewing Co.

      • Time: 4 p.m.
      • Description: Downtown Macon will be filled with trick-or-treaters, and the Boo Bash at Fall Line Brewing Co. is the perfect stop for fall-themed fun.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      The Haunted Hallway at Bloomfield-Gilead Recreation Center

      • Time: 4 p.m.
      • Description: Brave children and their family are invited to “walk the scariest hallway in Middle Georgia” at this event which will include food, candy, music, a costume prize giveaway, and more.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      Nightmare on Main Street in Byron

      • Time: 6 - 7:30 p.m.
      • Description: Downtown Byron will invite trick or treaters to gather candy in a safe environment on Main Street.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      Candy Palooza at Central City Church

      • Time: 6 - 9 p.m.
      • Description: Central City Church in Macon will have food trucks, a trunk of treat with lots of candy, and more.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.

      LifeFest - Free Fall Festival at Real Life Church

      • Time: 7 - 9 p.m.
      • Description: For those looking for an event to go to that isn’t Halloween related but will feature free candy, games, food, rides, and more, Real Life Church has you covered.
      • Price: This event is free and open to the public.
