FRIDAY, JANUARY 19
THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL STARRING BELINDA DAVIDS: A TRIBUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON AT THE GRAND OPERA HOUSE (7:30 P.M.)
Singer and performer Belinda Davis will perform in this show paying tribute to the one and only Whitney Houston. Tickets to see Belinda Davis perform start at $30 online or at the Grand Opera House’s box office.
ORGANIST ALVIN R. BLOUNT AT NEWTON CHAPEL ON MERCER UNIVERSITY’S MACON CAMPUS (7:30 P.M.)
Alvin R. Blount is an organist, the reference and instruction librarian at Georgia State University, and a Mercer alum. He will be playing works by Florence Price, C.M. Widor, Marianne Kim, and Calvin Taylor according to Mercer University’s Townsend School of Music. This is a free event.
CHARLIE STARR WITH BENJI SHANKS AT THE CAPITOL THEATRE (8 P.M.)
Charlie Starr is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the American country rock band Blackberry Smoke. Benji Shanks, who is the guitarist for Blackberry Smoke, will also be performing at this show. Tickets to this show might be hard to find as they were showing as being sold out online at the time of publication.
MAGNOLIA BOULEVARD AT GRANT’S LOUNGE (8 P.M.)
Magnolia Boulevard is a band based out of Lexington, Kentucky who are on their Snowbird Run tour. Their most recent album is titled “Things Are Gonna Change” and they have shared the stage with bands like Blues Traveler, Marcus King, and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band. Tickets to see Magnolia Boulevard perform cost $15 online or at the door.

THE VARDEN AT THE HUMMINGBIRD (10 P.M.)
The Varden is a rock and roll band from Blue Ridge who will be performing at The Hummingbird late Friday night. The Hummingbird will charge a $5 cover at the door for this show.
MATT MCMILLAN AND THE CITY LIMITS AT BILLY’S CLUBHOUSE (10 P.M.)
Matt McMillan and the City Limits will be playing popular country and classic rock music at Billy’s Clubhouse on Friday. Billy’s never has a cover charge.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 20
ROAD TRIP: HEAD GAMES (FOREIGNER TRIBUTE) AT BARNSTORMER’S GRILL IN WILLIAMSON (8 P.M.)
Head Games will be performing the music of the rock band Foreigner at this show on Saturday. Attendees will hear songs like “I Want to Know What Love Is”, “Cold as Ice”, and “Waiting for a Girl Like You”. Tickets to see Head Games perform start at $25 online.
PARKER MILLSAP AND ROBERT ELLIS AT CAPITOL THEATRE (8 P.M.)
Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Parker Millsap will be performing on Saturday at the Capitol Theatre. Robert Ellis is also a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has earned the nickname of the Texas Piano Man. Tickets start at $25 online or at the Capitol Theatre box office.

ERIC LINDELL WITH ALICE DRINKS THE KOOL AID AT GRANT’S LOUNGE (8 P.M.)
Eric Lindell is a singer and songwriter from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida who plays Americana. Alice Drinks the Kool Aid is a unique band created by the founder of Lagunitas Brewery, Tony Magee and their music “draws from the deepest free jazz and the most fundamental rock and blues.” Tickets to this show cost $25 online or at the door.
K-MO AT THE SOCIETY GARDEN (8 - 10 P.M.)
K-Mo is a well-known jazz musician who will be performing on the inside stage at The Society Garden this Saturday night. The Society Garden usually charges a cover charge for their music shows.
DJ CL33BO AND DJ OLD FLAME AT JBA (10 P.M.)
DJ cl33bo will be reuniting with DJ Old Flame for a performance at JBA late Saturday night. JBA often has a cover charge for their musical performances.
SOUTHBOUND MOJO AT THE HUMMINGBIRD (10 P.M.)
Southbound Mojo plays covers of hit music with a “rock edge”. The Hummingbird will have a $5 cover charge at the door for this show.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 21
THE PROM AT THEATRE MACON (P.M.)
“The Prom” tells the story of four “eccentric Broadway stars” looking for a new place to perform. The performers hear about a prom in a small town where a girl isn’t being allowed to bring her girlfriend and they join forces with the students. This musical comedy play is part of Theatre Macon’s Youth Artists’ Company Series. The Prom will start on Friday, January 19th and run through January 28th. Tickets cost $25 online or at Theatre Macon’s box office.
