Middle Georgians can enjoy many exciting experiences this week, including the Great Pages Circus' aerial acts, liberty ponies, and the Globe of Death, Storytellers Macon's evening of true stories on the theme "Love is a Battlefield," and Gina Brillon's stand-up comedy in Milledgeville. The Great Pages Circus rolls into Milledgeville for two days of family-friendly entertainment featuring aerial acts, silly clowns, juggling, and four-legged stars, including liberty ponies, majestic horses, and camels. According to organizers, thrill-seekers can also experience "edge-of-your-seat excitement" with the Pages Globe of Death and its high-speed motorcycle action. The Great Pages Circus takes place Monday at 7 p.m. and Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Children 12 and under to attend free with every paid adult ticket, which costs $20 online at this link.

Warner Robins Little Theatre holds auditions for "And You Can Dance," a musical celebration featuring hits from the 1980s and 90s, directed by Corey Dinkins. Performers interested in bringing these beloved decades to life through song and dance can audition on Monday or Tuesday evening. The production runs from May 2nd through 17, 2026.

Start out the week with a unique concert as Georgia College's Department of Music presents "Beyond the Canon," a guest artist and faculty recital featuring pianists Samuel Gingher and Hue Jang. These skilled pianists will be performing works by James Baptist Cramer, Carl Czerny, and Franz Liszt. The evening includes solo performances and a four-hand piano duet, offering audiences the opportunity to experience forgotten masterworks brought back to life through skilled interpretation. The concert will be livestreamed at this link for those unable to attend in person. A $5 donation is encouraged, with proceeds benefiting music scholarships and the GCSU Department of Music.

TUESDAY, February 10th
>> Storytellers Macon Presents: Love is a Battlefield at Grant’s Lounge (6:30-8:30 p.m.)
Storytellers Macon presents "Love is a Battlefield," an evening exploring the real, messy, triumphant side of relationships at Historic Grant's Lounge this Tuesday. The evening's stories will revolve around the fact that love isn't always "candlelight and soft music - sometimes it's strategy, stamina, and ducking for cover." The featured storyteller for the evening is Dr. Athea "Essence" Vanzant of Essence Training & Consulting, LLC. Audience members can sign up to share five-minute tales that relate to the evening's theme. Socializing begins at 6 p.m. with stories starting at 7 p.m. Storytellers Macon's Love is a Battlefield is free to attend.

On Tuesday, the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce's Macon Area Connections invites singles to mingle at Switch Macon's Valentine's-themed bar for an evening "heavy on the vibes and light on the pressure." Participants will wear color-coded wristbands help break the ice - pink for those single and into women, blue for single and into men, yellow for "it's complicated," and red for taken but friendly. This event is for the 21-and-older crowd. A $20 registration includes two drink tickets, with optional speed dating, casual conversations, and icebreaker activities.

WEDNESDAY, February 11th
>> Craft Night at The Belltower (5:30-8 p.m.)
Middle Georgia DSA hosts a welcoming drop-in Craft Night at The Belltower this Wednesday. All supplies needed for making cards, friendship bracelets, painting, coloring, and more will be provided. The Belltower's signature Kava and Elixir Bar will serve drinks throughout the evening while guests browse "locally and intentionally made gifts". Craft Night at The Belltower is free to attend.

>> Cupid’s Night Out: Girls Night at Just Tap’d (5:30 p.m.)
Just Tap'd celebrates the love of friendship with Cupid's Night Out this Wednesday. Vendors will offer permanent jewelry and cute mini bouquets, while attendees can try out Just Tap'd's Valentine's candy flights, cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, and tasty hot pizza. Cupid's Night Out is free to attend, with food, drinks, and vendor items available for purchase.

>> Partner in Pride - The Newlywed Game/Pitch-A-Friend! at Longleaf Distillery (6 p.m.)
Longleaf Distillery hosts "Partner in Pride," a Valentine's cocktail-themed evening combining a celebration of relationships with creative matchmaking this Wednesday night. The main event features a Pride-themed Newlywed Game (apply at this link) where couples test how in sync they are by answering questions about their relationship, which is sure to create some humorous and entertaining results. This event's "Pitch-A-Friend" offers "a lighthearted, feel-good opportunity to uplift one another and maybe spark a few new connections," according to Macon Pride. During this portion of the evening, participants will deliver PowerPoint presentations of 3-5 slides, at a maximum of 7 minutes, pitching their amazing single friends to a room full of fellow singles (apply at this link). This unique event from Macon Pride highlights friendship, community, and real-life connections while celebrating love in all its forms. Downtown Perry invites best friends to Galentine's Night Out for an evening of shopping, dining, and a celebration of friendship this Thursday. Participating shops will stay open late with special Galentine's-themed promotions while ladies receive a free flower stem (while supplies last) as a sweet takeaway during their downtown stroll. The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce hosts Business After Hours at Piedmont Primary Care at Bass this Thursday. This event offers professionals the opportunity to network with Macon's business community while enjoying refreshments and door prizes along with fellow Chamber members and local business leaders. Georgia Military College welcomes Gina Brillon, the Bronx-born Puerto Rican comedian who has been perfecting her craft since age 17. According to organizers, Brillon's comedy blends "sharp observations, personal stories, and a candid look at life's challenges." In addition to being a comedian, Brillon is an HBO actress and America's Got Talent finalist, as well as a comedian, writer, and mom.
