ASTRONOMY FORECAST
Earthshine, also called ashen glow, the old Moon in the new Moon's arms, or the Da Vinci glow (because the famous inventor was the first to explain the phenomenon), should be visible a few days before and after a New Moon, which means a few days before and after this Friday, April 17th. Earthshine occurs when sunlight reflects off Earth's surface and illuminates darkened portions of the Moon.
