The 11th annual Heart of the Dragon Boat Festival will help support the important mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Heart of Georgia.

This unique event will feature boat races and more at Sandy Beach on Lake Tobesofkee on September 30th. 

There will also be a beach party during this event which will include a DJ spinning tunes, fun family-friendly games, and more. 

The boats that will be reached are 42 foot long dragon boats that require the paddlers to sync their movements.

Companies and organizations who would like to work on team building are encouraged to sponsor a team. Different levels of sponsorship receive different benefits but include paddling and racing equipment, team training, and even more paddlers if you need them.

There are no tickets required to participate in the beach party but you may have to pay a fee per vehicle to enter the park.
