For February's First Friday, there are events taking place all around Downtown Macon including:
- Georgia National Rodeo Night at Macon Mayhem and will include animal exhibits outside of the Macon Coliseum.
- $1 entry for first-time visitors to Barks n Brews.
- Maniaxe Throwing will have a "glow throw" starting at 7 p.m.
- The 567 Center will open their exhibit "Artistic Discourse: Educators Outside the Studio" which will feature artwork from "five different local teaching artists", Bruce Chase (Macon Mud), Micah Goguen, Cara Heard (Lush Art), Kathy Murphy (Macon Mud) and Casie Trace (Artspace Macon). The exhibit will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. and there will be light refreshments as well.
- There will be specials at The Brick Macon (Happy Hour 3 to 7 p.m.), Hotel Forty Five ($5 drinks/monthly flatbread specials).
- Creed Fisher, who sings outlaw country, performs at the Capitol Theatre starting at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25 online.
- Magnolia Moon and Choir Of Babble will be performing at JBA starting at10 p.m.
- The Macon Civic Club show will return to the Grand Opera house starting at 10 p.m. Tickets for this performance cost $45 online.
- The Sweet Diesel's Honky Tonk Heyday will be playing classic country hits at Grant's Lounge starting at 9 p.m. Tickets to this show cost $10 on Grant's website or at the door.
- Jeffrey Martin will be performing at Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum starting at 7 p.m.
- Raspberry Pie, a funk band from Orlando, is playing for the first time at The Hummingbird starting at 10 p.m.
First Friday is presented by Robins Financial Credit Union.
