Earth Day takes place every year on April 22nd and deals with the protection of the environment of the planet we all live on. The first celebration of this holiday was in 1970 and it is now a global event. 

Today would be a good day to get outside and enjoy nature while taking part in environmentally conscious activities such as recycling or making your home more energy efficient. There are different themes for each Earth day: for 2022 the theme will be Invest In Our Planet.
