Forecasts indicate that the storm system could bring multiple rounds of heavy rain, with more than two inches of rainfall expected. In addition to the potential for flooding, the area faces the threat of widespread damaging winds, isolated hail, and the possibility of strong tornadoes.

Emergency management officials will be closely monitoring the storm system and will provide updates as more information on timing and intensity becomes available. Residents are urged to stay informed, review emergency preparedness plans, and be ready to take action if severe weather warnings are issued.

Officials recommend securing outdoor items, ensuring emergency kits are stocked, and having multiple ways to receive weather alerts, including NOAA weather radios and mobile alerts. If a tornado warning is issued, residents should seek shelter in a sturdy structure, away from windows, preferably in an interior room or basement.

Stay tuned to local news outlets or visit the National Weather Service's website for updates for the latest information on this developing storm system.
