      ASTRONOMY IN MIDDLE GEORGIA

Since mid-February, six planets have been lined up along the Sun's path, creating what astronomers call a "planet parade." Saturn and Neptune were their closest to each other in a decade on February 20th. A planet parade doesn't happen every year, and the occasion generally causes a stir in the skywatching community. Even if you don't consider yourself a skywatcher, taking some time to look up at the skies, both during the day and night, can give you a sense of awe and wonder that many forget about as they grow older.
