The Macon Dog Park is one of the nicest dog parks I've ever been to and it is located conveniently near downtown Macon in the College Hill Corridor. There are two fenced area with the larger area designated for larger dogs and the smaller area for little dogs. The two bridges and the stream that run through the park, along with the beautiful trees throughout the park, make this a perfect place to hang out with your furry and human friends. There is even an agility training course, though I've never had any luck getting my dogs to take any interest in it. There is a Yappy Hour event that is held there regularly for people and their dogs to hang out and listen to live music and buy usually pet related products from local vendors. Macon Dog Park is located at 831 Adams St, Macon, GA 31201 and they are open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. during fall and winter and 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. during spring and summer. I highly recommend this park if you live in Macon are even if you are driving by Macon on I-75 and need a convenient place to let your dogs stretch and play.
