Newest Trail at Amerson River Park Offers Scenic Views of the Ocmulgee River

If you haven't visited Amerson River Park lately, there is now a new paved trail to enjoy as of 2022. The trail connects Jay Hall North River Access, where many people put in their floats and boats, and the Overlook. 

The trail leads through forest and is often bordered by the Ocmulgee River on its right. There are multiple seating areas and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities along the route. 

This newly paved trail provides a new place to walk, run, or bike that is connected to the rest of Amerson River Park's 3.5 miles of paved trails.
