When the Confederate monument was moved from Downtown Macon to Rose Hill Cemetery officials at the Cannonball House opened the time capsules that had been a part of it. 

This free open house event will allow you can see some of those items for yourself, including "a letter from Confederate President Jefferson Davis to members of the Ladies Memorial Association, Confederate coins and bonds, photos, and copies of old newspapers". Refreshments will be served as well.

The Cannonball House open house event will take place from 4 until 6 p.m.
